Are there colored waxes on the market to purchase?

We recently chalk painted a hutch and buffet set from its original wood to a red with gold accents. We then sealed with clear wax. I would like to accent with gold throughout.

You could also get some gold acrylic paint and water it down... A lot... Like 1 to 10 ratio..

I am wondering if the fact the hutch was already 'waxed' will cause a problem with a new product being applied. I would do a test area first, let it dry, and see if it rubs off. If it does, then you might have to remove the was from where ever you want to apply the new gold finish.
