Sand the paint until it is smooth. Clean well before painting again.
Watch the recoat times on the paint. If you put another coat on without following recommendations on the can, the paint may curdle. Been there, done that.
I think you could sand it down then give it another coat of paint. But don't sand unless the paint is dry.
Did you use paint made for plastic? Did you let the first coat dry completely? Did you spray too thick of coats? Just sand it down smooth, respray, and make sure you let each coat dry completely. Use paint made for plastic like Krylon Fusion. Also several light coats will give you a smooth finish.
I did use Krylon for plastic. And I'm pretty sure I let it dry thoroughly. It was about 3 hours between coats. I think I must have gotten the paint on too thick in some spots. I was afraid to try sandpaper, even fine grit, on it because the plastic is so smooth. But I feel better about giving it a try after hearing from you guys. Thanks!
