Need help refinishing a rusted locker

Here is one.. 1. you can take a sawzall or jigsaw and carefully remove the old floor. 2. purchase enough 'L' channel to go around the bottom and use small bolts to secure it to the sides, front, and back. 3. measure and cut a piece of 3\4" plywood for the flooring.. 4. paint the panel and install it in the bottom of your cabinet. 5. step back and admire your work.. That is how I restored mine, and painted it red to match the garden shed.. That was four years ago.. still looks great..Helpful Reply

Pauliegirl1 on May 26, 2015Next time u need to remove RUST....go to auto store and get "Evapo Rust"....depending on the amount of rust, takes ONE time!! Its a watery substance, that I just painted on with a foam brush, 30 min.....ABSOLUTELY no rust, just metal....and NO MESSY gel to worry about!!! Just rinse with water!! As far as the bottom..Ruslzplace has you covered!!Helpful Reply
