Seal or no seal?

After painting kitchen cabinets, is it necessary to seal them to prevent paint from chipping?

yes,they must be sealed with a non-yellowing polycrylic -

No, it is not. Paint will chip if surface preparation was insufficient and painting paint over paint won't fix that. -

I did not put sealer on mine -

If you used a good primer, you shouldn't need a sealer
