Should the paint color on a front door be the same on both sides?

    My front door it painted 2 colors - Dark Purple on the outside and cream on the inside. When the door is shut the cream is the same accent as my trim. When the door is open it is an accent color for my room. You can decide how you want your door to look. There is no set rule!

    No. Just make sure you tape well and have clean edges.

    I like to have a more bold fun color on the exterior side and have the interior side blend in more with the decor.

    Never! Color is what makes a place personalized. Be sure to use exterior paint on the outside.

    Not necessarily. Depends on if it will match inside of your home. If not paint inside something that matches inside your home.
