Chalk paint on glass?

My patio set has a glass top table, can I use chalk paint on it & how?

    i wouldn't personally suggest an outdoor application would prove successful in the long term. Even with exterior flat latex. Many coats of protective sealant would, in my opinion, ruin the subtle effect of the milk technique. My opinion only.

    Is it clear glass, could you paint it from the underside in a bold bright color and then poly it?

    I did what Stephanie suggested with mine. I painted the underside. There is no need for poly if it doesn't get wet. Once chalk paint cures (a couple weeks?) it won't even matter if it gets wet. I paint a lot of outdoor things with it.

    They now sell chalk paint made for glass. Hobby Lobby carries a ton of colors.
