What are the new colors of 2018? Are we leaving the grays and blues?

I think variations of green are definitely part of Pantone´s 2018 colors. Many subtle variations, some of them do have gray in them. -

I think of gray as a neutral, some grays just have more, tan, lavender, green, or blue in them than others... -

Forget the "new colors". Use what you like. A hint for the best color usage is as follows: make 60% of the room favor one main color (a neutral in any shade is recommended). Then use 2 contrasting/coordinating colors in the following proportions - 30% for the second color and 10% for the third. Don't forget that you can mix stripes, plaids and prints as long as the 3 colors are dominant.
