I am wanting to make a burlap garden flag with a bunny on it. What kind of paint should I use to make my bunny to be sure that it will be long-lasting outdoors? Thanks for your help!

They make outdoor acrylic craft paint. I think Apple barrel and Americana, both have some.

You can paint with whatever you want and then coat it with Mod Podge for outdoor

Acrylic paint of any kind will endure rain and wind with no coating necessary if you don't want to, otherwise an acrylic clear spray will do it. I used it to paint sweatshirts for everyone for Christmas (24 of them!) and they wash up great. Sun may fade it some, but you would just have to repaint them a bit to brighten them up after a summer...and it's reasonable, check out the dollar stores.

@Barbara R - you should post some of those painted sweatshirts! I cross stitch on shirts/sweatshirts for family members - but I spend too much time on the computer now to do it. If I want to do it again, I'll have to spend more time watching TV and stitching, but painting a few shirts might be easier - could do several at a time with the right set up.

They make a Fabric medium that you can add to the Acrylic craft paint to make it washable and durable. I used it on a canvas bag years ago and it's still as good as the day I painted it.
