Hope you're talking about the exterior of an old claw foot tub. Absolutely NOT a fiberglass tub. Sure is an interesting question. Hope all goes well for you and hope you post a picture of your finished product. Good luck. -

My DIY days are pretty much over. I am 80 and I have become physically handicapped. I cannot walk except with crutches and I get exhausted doing just the least little things. But I like to read about what people are doing and since I used to do a lot of maintenance both for myself as well as professionally, sometimes I can give insight into a particular problem that I, myself had encountered at one time.
