Frosting a glass door and how to do it

I need to know the easiest way to frost a glass door without globs of over spray and concentrated areas. I know of course to use a back and forth across surface, but it always seems to glop up. And how do you do a small area if it comes off/gets scratched?

look at gallery glass by Plaid. Apply it in a random swirl by pouncing your fingers.![]()

Instead of trying to paint it ,you can buy privacy film that look like frosted glass. -

You could use contact paper for a quick easy look. -

Save yourself all of that work and mess and permanency....buy ARTSCAPES window films. They have beautiful designs including frosted look and stained glass look. I have them all over my house on the bottom half of my windows.... GORGEOUS !! -

By the way the Plaid product is not permanent on glass. I’ve had it on our office doors for 3 years now. See pict
