How do you paint pocket doors?

There has to be some way besides taking off the door molding to get to all of the door? Or being stuck inside a bathroom while the door dries.

I had a pocket door once that closed off my laundry rm from my kitchen. As long as the door is hanging straight and secured both top and bottom you can paint either side then push it back in the wall and forget it for a day.

Same here...I have three pocket doors in various rooms in my house. I just took a brush and painted in as far as possible when the door was all the way to the other wall. It is a HUGE project to take them off as you have to take all of the molding off. Trust me no one will ever know that the tiny bit of door inside the wall is a different color!! Good luck :0)

Sand it with a little sand block so to get in the corner s dust with barely wet rag. Then sand whole door with ahand sander wipe clean then paint. Or check what hard wear it has most door s have atrack on bottom and screws removed them on bottom first then the top make sure have a helper so the door doesn't hit you go to home depot and ask for right paint. also a tip when you removed the tracks put each srew in whole of track and tape it with Scott tape so you know where everything goes back the same putting the bottom track in frist then the top
