Chubby58 on Aug 02, 2016I use a product called Kutzit. You will probably have to order it from a local hardware store. I got mine from Ace. It has a really strong smell. Should use a mask and gloves, but it will get the job done with one coat.Helpful Reply

Jack Rogerson on Aug 02, 2016Whatever type of paint stripper you use, you must make absolutely certain that you remove all traces of it before you apply anything else. Otherwise the stripper will react with the new finish. This is often why decorators use the old idea of a blowlamp and a scraper.Helpful Reply
