How to strip paint from interior window frame

We have a porch with floor to ceiling windows. The window frames are unfinished wood, except one which was painted white. We want to remove the white paint, then preserve all the frames with a natural finish.

For the painted frame use Citristrip which is a non-toxic paint remover.Clean all the wood and then apply a stain and sealer from Min-Wax.

I use a product called Kutzit. You will probably have to order it from a local hardware store. I got mine from Ace. It has a really strong smell. Should use a mask and gloves, but it will get the job done with one coat.

Whatever type of paint stripper you use, you must make absolutely certain that you remove all traces of it before you apply anything else. Otherwise the stripper will react with the new finish. This is often why decorators use the old idea of a blowlamp and a scraper.

There's always Peel Away. It comes with an applicator, paste that won't damage window, and a wax paper to peel away paint & paste without leaving a mess. .

Unfortunately, we haven't done the paint removal yet. It depends on when we can get back to our summer house with time to do the job. However, with the information provided here, I know how to proceed. Thanks to all who answered my question.
