How to change Refrigerator Exterior's color?

Take it outside for this. Sand the finish to a dull look. Wipe down with mineral spirits. Tape off or remove the handle, seals, hinge, etc that you don't want to paint.

Using a metal primer, spray the surface you want to paint.

When that is dry spray with an appliance paint of your color choice.

Probably you will need two coats of color.

I painted a washer and dryer white and they looked brand new.

You definitely want to be outside for this job. Lightly sand and prime the fridge with an appliance primer. It's probably a good idea to use a spray paint. Spray paint with smooth strokes, painting past the refrigerator slightly to get an even application each time you start a new stroke. Good luck!
