I would ask at your local home improvement store!
There is heat resistant paint, made for wood stoves and grills. Problem is most of this is very dark colors. Rustoleum makes one, probably others as well. Available at big box stores. Yu may find more colors on line.
Good Morning Deb.hess2248 :) Just to be on the safe side (you know the old adage about better safe than sorry) use high-heat paint; there are so many colors to choose from now, but be sure you don't skimp on QUALITY where this is concerned. You want to be absolutely certain the paint will withstand any heat put out by the stove; Rustoleum makes both high heat paint that you brush on as well as a high heat paint you can spray on, but you might even find a flat paint color you like in the AUTO department of a store (auto paints need to be able to withstand high heat too). Enjoy your "new" room. I know you'll love it! :)
