I have an older brick home. The vents are as old. Need something DIY to hold over to warmer weather and have new ones put in. It's really cold outside.
My dryer does not vent outside the house.
Are there any options, beyond the pantyhose over the hose or the water box the hose is attached to? One makes my home dusty and the other SO humid and duusty.
No???? Microwaves do not need venting. Just some air space around the back.
That is unless you use it to vent your stove. You do not necessarily have to vent it outsid. Newer micro wave ovens will vent right back into the house.
MIcrowave ovens do not need to be vented. That's why they are portable. If it is above your stove, there should be a separate vent for the stove.
A microwave doesn't need venting. The recommended space around a microwave can vary by as much as 10cm, depending on the brand so check the installation instructions before you buy if it has to fit in a tight space
Nobody...microwaves are not vented....
The microwave doesn't need to be vented but you may want to vent the exhaust fan under the microwave that is the exhaust for your cooktop. That seriously needs to be vented, to rid your house of moisture, heat, and odors. Newer ones can use charcoal filters but all that handles is smell, the least damaging items. We used a contractor to do ours because he does all our repairs. We already had the exhaust vents that were in the perfect spot! Talk to a plumber, electrician, or contractor and get recommendations as far as it being appropriate work for their specialty.
