Is there a screw hole? I'm picturing picking up that very hot lid and it comes crashing down. Sounds scary. I have some lids that are constantly getting loose, and I have to screw together.
Superglue will not work
Yes. Scrape off old adhesive if there is any. Clean both lid and knob with alcohol before gluing.
Does the screw have a tightening screw? I would tighten this every time you wash it. I am not too sure about the glue. Keep asking others, or go to a hardware store, and ask. Also, you can put tissue paper on the screw, and then screw it again, and this may help you. For this little bit of paper, may take up the slack in the screw. Best wishes, J.
April, or use a lock washer, then it will not come loose again, or work off. J.
No, it will not. You will need a heat rated glue. Construction adhesive.
I don't recommend it/,\
