Hello, sometimes there are small bumps on the perimeter of the cup you can try to cut them off carefully with a knife or small fingernail clippers. If that doesn't work you can remove the cup and use a command strip those are super universal and they wont harm the glass. Good luck!Helpful Reply -

I once spent an entire Christmas season reapplying suction cups that were supposed to hold up garlands on my windows. The following year I switched to Command hooks and haven't ever had a problem.Helpful Reply- See 1 previous

Sometimes the cups will harden over time and lose their elasticity. You'll have to replace it or use the command hooks as stated above.Make sure the cups and surface are perfectly clean before applying. Wipe away grime, then wipe with alcohol to assure a tight fit.Helpful Reply -

I know it sounds gross, but sometimes a tiny bit of spit helps it stick.Helpful Reply- See 1 previous

Use a couple of drops of Loctite GO2 clear glue on the cup and let it dry before putting and weight on it. You can't see the glue and it will hold lots of weight.Helpful Reply -
