How to repair fake plastic tile in bathroom?

We have just bought a new to us home. The entire main bathroom is covered with the fake plastic tile. There is some mould around the faucets in the bathtub which I thought would come out with baking soda, vinegar, & toothbrush. Other areas of the tile are pulling away from the wall. Yes, we plan to remodel the bathroom next year, but would like it to be respectable until that time.

At many stores they sale inexpensive peel and stick tile. You can do that for a quick fix. -

Well I guess it depends on how much work you want to do. The above are easy stuff ,so I'll go with take them off and replace with a classy bead board or customize it with pallet board. The ideas are up to you , your taste in decor. -
