Cedar colored wood filler to match color of siding, apply with a putty knife sand and seal with waterproofing.

You need to explore reasons for the woodpecker making holes in the siding. If you have holes in the siding, you have insect problems.

I share your pain, have the same problem, reason woodpeckers are attacking the siding and trim is usually because you have carpenter bees drilling holes where they deposit their larvae., They are neat and tidy drilling experts. However, Woodpeckers Love the larvae, quite tasty, however, woodpeckers are not as neat and tidy. They just peck away and tear the wood apart. first, have an exterminator get rid of the carpenter bees. small holes may be able to be filled with wood putty, however the deeper holes from the bees are still there. best way? replace the damaged boards and restain/paint.
