Water heater from gas to electric

The water heater was converted from gas to electric. Cold water side is always hot, inside and outside. Except in the kitchen and shower.

    Is the hot water side hot as well?

    Check the heating element, heating elements conduct the electrical current that heats the water. Once the water temperature reaches the proper temperature – typically 120, 130, or 140 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermostat closes to break the circuit and thus ends the water heating.

    I think they switched the Hot & cold sides of the lines :) That has happened to me before :(
