How do I cover up an uneven sidewalk?




THE SIDEWALK IS CRACKED AND SUNKEN IN SOME PLACES. I DON'T WANT TO TEAR OUT AND REDO SO I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS SOMETHING I COULD DO COVER UP THE SIDEWALK AND MAKE IT SAFE. PERHAPS COVER UP WITH A WOODEN WALKWAY

a correctly built wood walkway would be very expensive.....lot cheaper to tear out and repour the concrete. maybe do a section at a time....maybe more work but a lot longer lifetime..
I agree with DW. You could also dig out the worst place(S) and put down pavers.
If it's not badly cracked you can raise the sunken places by prying the low side up enough to shovel gravel underneath. You just need a long pry bar.
