The best solution is to scrub and clean the affected areas with a mold-killing detergent or a simple solution of household bleach and water. Be sure to scrub aggressively to get down into the pores of the concrete. Let the detergent or bleach solution soak in for a while to ensure that all the mold is killed.

i had better luck with vinagar and water 50/50. bleach did not get the mold spores.

There also is a product called Wet and Forget available at Home Improvements Stores.

I've heard awesome things about Wet and Forget...though I haven't heard about it used on concrete. I would try white vinegar and water on concrete first. Good luck!

White vinegar kills mold. It comes in three strengths, 5% acetic acid, 6% or 10%, which is like vinegar on steroids. I would wear gloves and a mask when scrubbing the floor.

Hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle or oxiclean in hot water. Wear gloves and a mask. Bleach does not do it and chlorine is toxic. Scrub and let set. There are also mold killer sprays at big box stores to spray on. Wet/spray and forget may only be for outdoors.
