Easiest way, if you do not already have supplies, is to purchase a patch repair kit from Home Depot or hardware store that carries them. Repair patch kit comes in several sizes. You need the small size. Follow directions on package. I purchased one for $9 that will cover several holes made from removal of bathroom fixtures. Happy patching.
