How to repair a tear in digital on canvas print?

Have a v shaped tear in a picture love. It is a photo digital enhanced printed on canvas and stretched over a light frame. it is stretched the tear is ragged can't pull it together and tape behind. Don't know if these is a way of taping then kind of painting on top over that area. I don't have any painting skills. Any suggestions?

You can send a photo via email to companies online that will make you a new one any size for really cheap. See attached photo of mine for under $25. It is canvas and I chose a large size.
