The best thing to do is to remove or dig out all of the old grout then clean everything. Finally put in new grout and let it dry. Here's an article that explains how to do it with more detail. Wishing you the best.

Clean out as much as you can and then renew the grout.
You can use a grout removal tool like one of these. You need to get all the old out. Once you put the new grout in and it's dry, you will need to seal. I would recommend 3 coats of grout sealer.
