3-year-old pallet-What can I do with it ?

I have a pallet leaning against the wall. It is now gray and weathered. What can I do with it so it doesn't look like an eyesore?

take it apart and make a gate type fence out of it and plant flowers in front of it.
turn it into a planter. You can lay it on the ground and plant plants in the middle of the boards. This will keep the roots from getting dig up by animals.
