As long as the package has not been exposed to moisture, it should still be fine. When you open it, if it appears to be like any other box of pudding, make and enjoy your pudding. If it isn't, throw it out and go buy some new. It really isn't worth the $1 or less of the cost of the pudding to make yourself ill.

Hi Hol: If it doesn't have bugs in it, you can probably still use it. I've used pudding that was a couple of years old and it was just fine.

Boxed puddings can last indefinitely when stored in a cool dry place. Boxed pudding is essentially sugar and cornstarch. Not really much to go bad there. Tossing pudding into boxed cake mix is good. ou can also make it a bit thicker and use it to tunnel in a bundt cake. You mix up the bundt cake batter, put about 1/2 of it in the pan, then a ring of pudding (only in the middle, so it doesn't touch the sides) and then the rest of the batter.

Hi there, if it's recently expired, open it and sniff, it should still be good to eat. Otherwise I would just toss them.
