I had a load, and used them vertically. Had to dig a bit, but the effect was like pier pilings. Guess one could paint them brown, but I figure the grey was a warning as to their stoutness.Helpful Reply -

Another idea, but have not used it yet: Make a handle like a push lanmower. Use a masonry bit on each end to drill bolt holes. You have a cheap lawn roller.Helpful Reply -
