Did you mean the metal type of can with the plastic lid? Or do you have an entirely plastic tub? I think these ideas would probably work for either, but let me know if it's not what you're looking for!
thanks for your reply. I have the ones that are all plastic with the handle. I've seen them converted into canisters and storage. What I'm looking for is Christmas crafts that I can either give away as gifts or sell at a craft fair. Any ideas?
In the link I listed above, there were a few options for covering coffee cans with twine, ribbon, or other materials that I think would work for a fully plastic container. The good thing about plastic is that you could cut it or punch out holes pretty easily. Maybe you could also make planters with drainage holes in the bottom?
