Need ideas on what to do with this headboard

Question

I don't need this as a headboard and I am stumped on what to do with it. I don't have a garden so a trellis won't work. Help!!!!!

Think up!  You can suspend/hang it and use it for towel or other open storage. Possibly cut in half and suspend two.

If you removed 2 out of every three slats, and turned it end wise, It could be fastened to a wall (braced so that there is a space behind it,) for an awesome towel bar.Or a magazine rack if you like that sort of thing. As individual pieces of wood there are many possibilities, The top would make a nice shelf under a window for example.

Why not add legs on the back and use as a coffee table or use longer legs and use as a bar with a glass or mirror top?  Maybe a seat with short legs and cushions?

Do you have a higher ceiling? You could hang it from with mug hooks screwed in to organize something.

That is nice, if keeping it as a headboard, get some material you really like to cut 2 inch wide 'ribbon' and thread it through top and under, then the next row under and top, weaving it, then do decor around it to match, I dunno, just thought,

Depending on the size...If you took the shelf off the top and the legs off the bottom (assuming it's on legs) and then split it in half where that wider slat is, in the middle - you end up with 2 vertical or 2 horizontal slatted 'shutters' to dress up an outside window or garage wall window or throw some legs on them and you have side tables for the lawn chair or as fire pit seats. I had fun concocting something up for you.  LOL

Fix to the back of pantry door glue and screw shallow shelving to the slats you now have oodles of space for herbs spices sauces jars of pickles chutneys and spreads

Cut in half use cable ties to join both pieces to form ^ apex shape  pull bottom out now you have instant drying rack for dish cloths drying up towels socks pants etc

Use as the back board for a porch swing or bench.  Add legs for a side or coffee table. Cut in half use as sides for a book case with added shelves.

I think I would build a simple u-shaped frame from furring and glue and screw it to the back. Then cut straight across the bottom of the headboard , removing the bottom framed edge and mount it to the ceiling for hanging stemware. I think I would paint it white high gloss though. I looked and looked at that and just keep seeing a stemware rack.
