at sewing and craft stores there is an iron on tape, looks like a web of fibers. the iron melts the fibers to fuse 2 pieces of fabric together.

You can use tea towels for cafe window curtains. Use an iron on seam webbing to make a rod pocket then string on the curtains.... easy!
