How we had fun Thanksgiving weekend: Ferguson Enterprises closed for us to bring their old '80's ceiling up to speed

with the rest of the showroom. A daunting task of 148 hours; only 4 hours was spent spraying the ceiling; nearly all the rest was spent wrapping then unwrapping the showroom. We also painted the track lighting fixtures. It's not so much what we did but what we didn't do, make a mess, that made them happy. And I'm thankful!

This puts me on my soap box . . . prepping of the space. It is so sad to walk into a home where the painters were sloppy. Drop cloths, tape and covers for floors and are the cheapest form of insurance you can buy. There is no such thing as too much or too many. When we are on a job site, it is so important to be respectful of a client's home. It takes a little longer and may cost a bit more. . . but it is SOOO worth it. ...»

My hat is off to you, Peace. I have followed your work and it is always PERFECT. I never need to "fix", repair or clean up behind you. I hate it when you are labeled under the broad category of "painter". You are truly a "paint professional"!!!!!!!!

BTW, the dark ceiling makes all of the chrome and white fixtures absolutely sparkle. LOVE it.

Though I'm not a professional painter, I can only imagine the prep that has to go into it and I can relate from previous painting projects in the past and with having professional painters over yesterday. As they say, hats off to those of you in the painting business; your hard labor and respect for clients proves your professionalism. :)

Yes prepping is so important and I love how you took care of the clients space. It is not just painting the wall but it is how you treat the clients space before and after the job. Good job Charles!!

Thank you all for your kind remarks.

We have gotten used to prep being such a significant part of the time of most jobs. It is written, 'many hands make light work'; we all jump in until it is finished. It helps alot when the burden is shared around so now we are used to it.

Because this was a holiday weekend and I needed an extra hand, our son pitched in. He was a ...»

great sport and we had the best time working together, a real and lasting bonus to the job and kept the holiday feeling going!

And yes, Kass, those fixtures do pop with the new ceiling color!

    Thanks, Charles

You're welcome, Peace. :) How dedicated you all are to satisfying your customers and getting the job done shows just how professional you guys are. I'm impressed. I only wish we had called you guys for the painting at our house for my bedroom. We called out some handymen to do it, but the work is very poor compared to the wonderful work you you guys have done here.

Thanks April, we would enjoy the opportunity to knock something out for you next time!

Pizazz, they do have very nice showrooms. This is the Alpharetta location, closest to you; this coming week they will have us in Buckhead touching up.

That's more wrapping than a Christo art installation! But what a difference a black ceiling makes. Another great job.
