Thanks for sharing the picture Kim! Have you checked out Lowes or Home Depot? They're likely to have the most cost effective solutions. Be sure to take measurements of the room before going to make your trip worthwhile!

Kimberly, rubbermaid closets allows you to make your own configuration for shelving. chk out their website.
  • Closet maid and closets by design could also give you a nice design. I love the ottoman you have there. I designed a closet for a lady. you see the mood board here. I used a similar piece in white leather. http://www.networx.com/b3273b0669/project/1409

I think that closet is bigger than my bedroom. When you are at Home Depot or Lowe's, also compare the prices for pre-made shelving systems to other even more DIY and more versatile alternatives. For example, instead of buying a prefab shelf for a window garden, I bought two support braces and a piece of 1x lumber cut to exactly the right width.

Depending on the design, the amount of built-ins (dressers), a possible island, mirrors, etc, Ca. closets, although their work is prefinished and beautiful, can be expensive. In my last two homes, I have had my cabinet maker sit down with the client, draw up a plan specifically for her needs. He built and installed it to her specs and my painter finished it. Saved her 20% and she got exactly what she wanted.
