Installed Cedar Closet and Window Seat in the Basement

I thought we would try the project ourselves but glad we found someone reliable.

I didn't realize cedar would cost so much.
*My motivation to do this project:
More seating in the basement and a special closet for winter items
*Project Steps:
Bought lumber for window seat, cedar for closet and shelving. Contractor installed it without difficulty.
Advice:
Pay attention to the work thats being done in your home.Do compare prices of materials.
Materials:
Cedar for closet - $250.00
Lumber for Window seat - $150.00

Oh I am so very jealous of that beautiful Cedar lined closet. I miss them..... truly the most wonderful closets to me. I so wish I could afford to buy Cedar lumber to make my window seat in my bedroom....... I would forego my white, soft blue, coastal look for Cedar.
