I am re-doing my office space (in my house) and decided that I would keep the budget LOW!
2. Because I change my mind--ALOT and I apparently did not get one of those trees that grow money when we moved in..
Not to mention that I am a totally "instant gratification" person and my attention span is short.
I went to Marshall/Homegoods, Target, KMART, Bed Bath and Beyond to find my new stuff
Total jackpot!
I am going with the burnt orange, green and teal color scheme
currently we have brown funiture, heart of pine flooring, white bead board on all four walls and beige paint
Black/white zebra print 5x7 rug---$35
Orange retro lamp--$29
Textured fabric to cover a chair pillow--$13 per yard (need 1/4 of a yard)
Key to entire project--decluttering and cleaning out my STUFF
Baskets, organization and simplicity....
Few hrs worth of work, refreshed state of mind, still money left over for new shoes!
Easy, inexpensive way to freshen up any space

Bernice H on Nov 10, 2011OH kindred spirit! I change my mind a LOT too! and yes I am instant gratification from the word go! I have to mentally slap myself when I start thinking something is wrong with me. I can change my surroundings every couple of months or so! I have so many comforters my husband thinks I am waaayyy out of control! I move stuff all the time! Thanks for the validation , I am OK!Helpful Reply

Marilyn O on Apr 10, 2012My idea on your blue pots, make them appear as a cascading waterfall, with plants that drape over the edge into the next pot. I elevate my pots with bricks to make an apperance like a waterfall of plants. There are some very awesome growing vines and even succulents that would be great!Helpful Reply
