Should I wait to apply a pre-emergent until after the heavy rain?

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Feb 21, 2013Yes, heavy rains will wash it away or cause it to pool in low areas increasing its concentration in those areas which is also not good.Helpful Reply

Flowerscapes Garden Design & Landscaping on Feb 23, 2013A gentle rain is always welcome to water in lawn treatments that need it. Heavy rains tend to wash away granular supplements and can even negate some freshly put down liquid supplements. I usually welcome the rain but I need a break. Hotlanta is now Wetlanta.Helpful Reply
