Washing machine

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Apr 25, 2013I would assume that this is a recent issue? IF that is the case, you need to snake your drain connection through the trap area. It sounds as though the drain is starting to become plugged up with lint. Our machine always needs this cleaning as my wife washes horse blankets and all sorts of other hairy animal items in the machine. The horse hair builds up causing a slow drain and back ups up and around the hose itself.Helpful Reply

PML on Jan 13, 2016This happened to my washer as well. Since I live in a 1940's house, I called in the drain cleaner to snake it out and they discovered the pipe the washer hose runs into was broken beneath the cement floor. The floor had to be broken up and the pipe replaced. No problems since the repairs were made.Helpful Reply

Carole cribb on Jan 30, 2016Our washer needs to pump up to the drain pipe. Make sure line to drain is clear and then secure the drain with rubber piece secured with a metal gasket that tightens with a screw driver. Sorry I don't know the correct terms.Helpful Reply
