Has anyone ever used Tin squares for a bathroom ceiling?

Burco Surface & Decor LLC. on Mar 13, 2012I have never used it myself, but I know someone who used it on a wall. It looked good and was very unique but the problem they had was getting it to line up and lay down evenly. Im sure with some practice it could be made to look good. But be careful with how much adhesive you use behind the tin, it can make it look wavy or show the pattern of the adhesive. I would use the double sided mounting tape instead of adhesive.Helpful Reply

Project Style, LLC on Mar 13, 2012If you want the look of tin without actually using tin, check out anaglypta wallpaper. It comes in different patterns and can be painted. We have used it on walls as well as on ceilings. It is not difficult to install and gives beautiful results.Helpful Reply

AmericanTinCeilings on Jan 30, 2014Hi @Pamela L, tin ceiling tiles look great in bathrooms as long as they're finished with a rust-proof material like our powder coating. Check this out for design inspiration: http://americantinceilings.com/bathroom.html?utm_source=housetalk&utm_medium=social&utm_term=20140130&utm_content=textlink&utm_campaign=lmHelpful Reply

Karin_edwards2000 on Nov 03, 2015I used decorator tin tiles I bought from an on line store and put them up behind my stove. replacing an ugly plain white metal piece. Turned out great and I can still use magnets to hang extra pot holders and mittsHelpful Reply
