Mary Insana on Jun 22, 2013Try a gel paint remover. Paint it on with a cheap chip brush and let it loosen the paint then wipe away. Hope it worksHelpful Reply

WallsTreat Studio/ Kass Wilson on Jun 23, 2013There is a possibility that the design was "etched" before the paint was applied. In that case, it is embedded into the glass for good. It may be easier for you to replace the glass in the doors. Any cabinet maker should be able to help you with that.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jun 24, 2013Glass unless it is really a special pattern that needs to be cut is really low cost. I would not spend any money on trying to remove the mirror silvering on the back, you risk perhaps messing up the back side of the cabinet door using chemicals. Also the mirror coating (silvering) is really not a paint in the term of things. I doubt any paint remover will even touch it.Helpful Reply

Susan Cryor on Jun 25, 2013there are several businesses that specialize in silver removal and resilvering. I would check with them. As I recall, there are other metals in silver that can be toxic. I recall them wearing full protective suits, masks with respirators....like going into chemical war.....this was over 20 years ago!Helpful Reply
