How do we friend people on Hometalk?

360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on May 15, 2012When you are on your home page do you see a list to the left that gives how many posts you made ? It should be listed as 'connections'. If you click on that it should give you your list of people that you have connected to .Helpful Reply

3po3 on May 15, 2012Also, if you click on an individual's profile pic or name, it will pull up their profile. At the top right of the page, there should be either a "connected" or an "add to network" link. You can use that to friend people.Helpful Reply

Nancy Rhodes C on May 15, 2012No, I do not have "connections" to the left on my home page. I do not even know how to find the people that I accepted as FRIEND on Hometalk. This is very confusing to me but I will keep on reading your good advice. I have learned SO much already.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on May 15, 2012Click on the name of the person you want to connect with. Then simply look to the right of their name, You will see an invite. Click on that and they will respond to your request. You will find requests along the black bar where your name is listed. Upper right corner. There will be an orange square if you have any notices there. Click on that and look for replies and messages. There you will accept or decline becoming connected.Helpful Reply

Nancy Rhodes C on May 16, 2012Resolved somewhat. I am having a problem getting to Hometalk at all. I got her now through Woodbridge Environmental. I will learn in time. Some of us are slow this way. Where do I find those names. Don't answer that - I will learn.Helpful Reply

Pam on May 16, 2012While on Hometalk, go to your toolbar click on Favorites and click on add to Favorites BAR and the shortcut should show the little house (Home Talk) on your top (favorites bar) tool bar every time you are on your computer. Mine shows the shortcut link on the top bar and on the bottom bar. If y our computer is not showing a favorites tool bar, click VIEW, then tool bars, then click on Favorites. You should then have a favorite tool bar.Helpful Reply
