KMS Woodworks on Jul 01, 2013Heavy mineral soils tend to compact more that organic rich soils...blending in more organics is the answer. This can be in the form of clipping, peat, compost. etc. You can work it in with a tiller, shovel or rake. The deeper and more evenly it is blended the better.Helpful Reply
