Gail--My Repurposed Life on Jul 09, 2013I have attached the sides to the back many different ways. My favorite (easiest) is using my Kreg Jig Jr (pocket hole jig) It's only $40, and it will change the way you build. Good investment. I have also predrilled pilot holes from front to back (on the headboard) and attached screws (use wood glue) into the sides. you can check out my headboard bench tutorial here: http://bit.ly/I2K8HaHelpful Reply

Z on Jul 09, 2013There are other versions of the Kreg Jig Maria. Until I did a quick search for you, I didn't realize there were more than just the regular and junior as Gail suggested. That's the one we have too. Check out this link to learn more... http://www.factoryauthorizedoutlet.com/kreg/jigs-and-accessories/Helpful Reply
