Valerie on Jul 09, 2013I was able to get rid of grasshoppers in my garden by sprinkling flour (ordinary flour, not self-raising) over the plants where they liked to congregate. The flour should be sprinkled on in the early morning, before the dew dries away. They have some sort of reaction in their stomachs to the flour and it causes the grasshoppers to 'dry out'. Hose the flour off every couple of days, and then repeat the process.Helpful Reply
