What can I put on my roses something is eating the leaves
they are turning white too also bugs are eating at my host as and hollyhocks

You really need to know what is eating the leaves to properly treat them, Barb. What works on a caterpillar will not work on a slug. If you do not see any activity during the day, check in early morning or just before dark. If neither of those turn up anything, your first course of action should be nothing more than a good blast of water with the hose.
