Linda on Jul 07, 2016Check if you need a new battery at the switch on the wall. Secondly, check your air filter. Sometimes they get clogged and air cannot get through. But be sure first of all put a new battery in at the wall.Helpful Reply

William on Jul 07, 2016Your furnace blower is not turning on. Check the fan switch on your thermostat is in "auto" or "on". In "auto" the blower will turn on when the ac turns on. In "on" the blower run all the time. If you have a digital thermostat and it is flashing "BATT", the batteries need to be replaced like Linda states. If all else fails, you will need an ac guy to check it out.Helpful Reply

Chris Sortino on Jul 07, 2016if you are like me and like the temperature in your home like that of the North Pole, the humid air we are experiencing this time of the year could have caused a build up of ice in the main trunk exiting your air conditioning unit in your home. you yourself may be able to defrost this yourself by shutting off the air conditioning and allowing it to thaw. put a large towel under the part so that the water wont damage the floor if it is wood. it may take a day or two but if ice buildup is the problem you will be producing cold air soon. if not, call a professional!Helpful Reply

Deby Simpson on Jul 07, 2016Depending on how old your unit is, there is a board that will flash lights. If the ac guy left the diagram, u can look up the code by the lights flashing. It sounds like your blower or part of your board went outHelpful Reply

Diana on Jul 07, 2016Thanks, I checked the outside for ice(none), no batteries are in the thermostat. My neighbor got it started and air stopped coming out. He didn't say anything about ice in attic, so waiting for it to thaw(if needed) and then calling ac guy. Thanks everyone, you were great. Oh checked breakers in garage also!Helpful Reply

Lynn Palmatier on Jul 08, 2016Could be the fan motor isn't working that happened to us. It was cooling but you couldn't feel any air coming out the vents. Always make sure your filters are replaced once a month. We also got programmable thermostats at Home Depot and installed them and it tells me that the filters need changing. Having dirty filters can stress you AC... I can program it so that it incrementally cools the house down so that when we are home it is cool. Certainly is best to have and ac pro come in and take a look at your unit.Helpful Reply
