Triple Phosphate, Yes or No?

I have a couple of bags of triple phosphate I'm thinking about broadcasting over my flower beds. I don't know a lot about how this may help or hurt them. Would love to hear from anyone with who has experience using this.

Wilma, as with any soil amendment, you should do a soil test before adding this. (You can drop the sample off at your local extension center and a basic tests costs only $10 in Missouri.) Unless your soil is deficient in phosphorous, there is no reason to apply triple phosphate.
