Trimming Roses back
-
Therese C on Aug 12, 2013My mother always cut her roses back after the first frost (not the killing frost). But we live in Iowa, so we cut them way back and wrapped the bushes in heavy paper like feed sacks, and wired the paper on to ready them for winter. We have much harder winters here but I believe I would use the same rule regardless of where I live.Helpful Reply
