Janet Pizaro on Sep 30, 2016I would choose your color scheme based on the size of your bathroom being careful not to make the room appear to small. Color can be brought in with accessories.Helpful Reply

Marrianne Rudy on Sep 30, 2016I'd try soft grey, soft teal and the coral in different shades and use gold in accents- think candlesticks, magazine rack, decorative tabletop boxes, etc. Don't forget towels with a gold border! Good luck!Helpful Reply

Johnchip on Sep 30, 2016Coral is a blend of primary color red with secondary color orange (red and yellow). I would stay in the light tone of a buttery(creamy secondary color yellow) white, keeping the room bright, light, bigger and open. Bring in your other sages, blues, etc...colors in the towels and accents.Helpful Reply

Mir Graham on Sep 30, 2016I like coral and orange. I never really liked coral with soft greens, because it reminds me too much of 80's and early 90's decor. But that's just my opinion.Helpful Reply

Carol Brown Hargrave on Sep 30, 2016I'd use a cream so the coral stands out against it. If there are too many bright colors, the coral you love may get lost in the mix. Very small amounts of contrasting colors would be okay. And I'd definitely play with paint chips at your local home improvement store so you can determine what combos YOU like!Helpful Reply

Elaine on Oct 01, 2016If you want a color "to pop", you always go to the opposite color (on a color wheel) which in this case, is blue. However, if your bathroom is small, I'd choose a warm cream or very pale gray. It depends on room size, lighting, your floor color, etc. Cream will look very calm and classy. Blue will bring more energy (if I can use that word) because it is the opposite to orange or coral. A color wheel can be bought at a dollar store or I'm sure you can find one on the Internet. They come in quite handy when decorating. Hobby/craft stores have them too but they might cost a few dollars more. If you like a bit of glam or sparkle, look for mirrored (or shiny steel) accessories (soap dish, lotion dispenser and so on) and buy some nice fluffy cream towels. If you have a lot of small items such as pill bottles, toothpaste, razor, etc, and don't have storage, put it in a nice dark rattan basket on top of the toilet tank to keep clutter to a minimum. Remember a few good size accessories looks a lot smarter than a bunch of tiny accessories. Hope you like your bathroom!Helpful Reply

Carrie on Oct 01, 2016Contrasting colors are always a good choice; in this case that would be blue. I would choose either robin's egg blue or a pale turquoise or aqua. Spa blue is prevalent in bath accessories. This would be my personal choice because I like color. A neutral choice would also be good, say either a warm cream or a soft taupe. Or if you want sunshine in the bath you might even choose a soft buttery yellow. You've gotten good suggestions and comments from others; it's about size, style and personal preference.Helpful Reply

Debi53 on Oct 01, 2016I have a bedroom that I did 2 coral walls and 2 white walls. My accents are black and a pale mustard yellow. It may sound like a strange combination, but is really pretty. I have enough black to really anchor the bold coral. You might consider leaving one wall white to relieve the boldness of the coral. If you need a shower curtain, start there. Splurge, if needed, to find one that has coral and other colors in it and pick your accent colors from there. Or do like I did, and go black & white against the coral.Helpful Reply

Naomie Moore aka baileyanddaisey, Castaic CA on Oct 06, 2016One of my very small bathrooms is a pale soft coral and I did a bright true white for the trim. I already had the shower curtain and accessories. As previously mentioned, it is a matter of personal taste. So no matter what you do, if YOU love it, that is what counts. Just remember to have fun through this process. :-)Helpful Reply
