I also saw ideas on the air plant. I'm sure a reputable nursery would carry them. I was given one a year ago as a stem in a ceramic pumpkin. All it takes is a soaking once in awhile and some indirect lighting. Let me know if you find any in your area. Thanks
Pam, I have one I absolutely love and do the water treatment. But I think they are si interesting and easy to take care of even for a child or in a bathroom. Thanks for your response.

I have seen them in Walmart here in S.E. MN. Most of them are not very big though. If you know anyone that lives in the south, they most likely have them growing in their own trees. When I lived in Naples Florida they were everywhere for the picking.
