I laways love steel blue for doors, its not to loud so youre less likely to grow sick of it but its really pretty so its likely to make your smile
I thought I wanted a sunny yellow-- wrong. I ended up adding blue to turn into a lime green and I have enjoyed that color.
i went with barn red on the exterior doors of house no.2
It definitely depends on the color of your house but I'm in agreement with Dfm- barn red doors all the way!
I am wondering the same question.....have a house painted a pale yellow with a white front door......do not know what color to go with to change the front door???
Red barn is the way to go
Take into consideration the color of your house, the trim, and the roof.If you want an opposite color, look at a color wheel and take it from there. Keep in mind the largest area of paint on the house, like the house itself or another large area of color is the roof. You can go opposite or compliment this by picking a color on either side of that same color. To "pop" I would go with an opposite color and make it somewhat bright.
Agree with Cheryl (Tampa). I've narrowed colors down to either Periwinkle Blue or Turquoise; house is beige brick.
Tampa, Turquoise!
